Balance
This quality is acquired by a few of us along the way. It requires perspective and perception to become what it can be, which is joy. Knowing that you don’t have to flip out in the stimulus- response world that most people live in. Balance means knowing who and what you are and that you will sometimes be responding and other times be stimulating and yet in others we can be just observing it all without the need to be either. Balance means you are a constant judge of events in the world, evaluating the alternatives, experiencing what you want and leaving the rest for someone else’s taste. It also means that you don’t get stuck in any one vein for too long since you might miss something else coming along that is just made for you. The master of this game has balance in his or her mind pattern and heart, so they can seize the day acting without a thought as to the consequences. You see everything works out when you’re in the flow. The universe is flow like a wave when you pay attention to the process and then also it is a particle when it turns on and off the light of life and you are paying attention to the specific. Your mind pattern attracts what you are interested in and you flow naturally to it like butter spreads over bread. But just try to hold onto anything specific and it is like holding onto the water in your hand. Truly you then experience the turn on and off of the universe. The key is to notice it all and if you must take some part of the universe, let it be a process you concentrate on because the universe is all about change and what changes are the specifics not the process of life. The stuff of life is always there in some form or another. When you want it in one form, it flows to you in another form, just to see if you’ll notice. If you notice, you grow and if you don’t, well that’s what karma is all about. That’s why when life hands you a lemon, you make lemonade if you’re in balance or flow. You have to be awake enough to tell the difference between lemons and a grenade. There is a time to act and a time to stand still. The time to act is when you find something you want or something that you definitely do not want, just as the time to observe is when nothing seems to hit your heart. In large measure, your mind pattern sets up the opportunities you could take advantage of and your heart lets you leap when the time feels right. The balance comes into being when you do not go after the grenade and leave the lemon alone. You have two aspects that work in harmony if you are in balance. Your mind sets up the attraction for pleasure or pain according to what its pattern dictates, and your heart lets you feel the highs and lows of life. The lows teach us the difference between the highs and the lows. To keep any one for too long retards growth and balance. The on-off nature of the universe constantly changes the specifics, but if you follow the light and do not get bogged down in the photons, you will lead a balanced life. Let the universe handle the details, it is enough to know the path you are on. Worrying about specifics often causes them to get closer, like the grenade you don’t want to bring into your life. Mankind may be bent on its own destruction, but that doesn’t mean that you have to go out and blow yourself up. If you notice things like this going on, you can lay a course that does not put you in path of mankind’s destruction. Balance the sadness of knowing that mankind in general, may be perishing, but be happy that you do not have to follow the crowd of lemmings off that cliff. In the old Soviet Union, there were the 20% who were put in camps and killed or maimed, and there were the others. You are in 3-D to be a witness to what is going on and grow from the experience, if you don’t notice the process or flow, how can you adjust to it. If you notice a small wave coming toward you, you can always dive under it, however this game is all about perspective and having the perception to feel if it is a tidal wave and you should move out of its path. Walking out of its path may mean just like walking down a New York Street without anyone noticing you have been there. You , in effect become so much in the flow of the moment that you can react quickly, in order not to get swept away in the aftermath. You, in effect, become like the universe, turning on and off at specific times when you like or dislike the circumstances you find yourself in. Balance is a required skill for 3-d. Acquire it ASAP. Notice enough of what is going on to act when the time is right. Go with the flow of the universe, not against it, collecting the experiences you want to grow into the being of light that you are.
