Oversaw the safe detoxification of much of the Plutonium in the major production building at Rocky Flats as a Shift Technical Advisor. Responsible for all the rules of safe operation at Rocky Flats with respect to Nuclear Operations and the enforcement of the same. I advised the Facility Manager about how to keep his operations safe and stopped unsafe operations. In my STA role, since I was often the only one who knew all the rules, I was expected to expedite the process to a safe conclusion which I did.

Retired 3/98 with full medical benefits to start my own company.
Note of interest: In 7/98, My building was shut down because no one was doing my job. It was restarted in 9/98 at a slower pace.
