Politics and Egos

Politics are all about egos and their fragility. Someone has an opinion and it automatically becomes their campaign platform or moral purpose to run for office. Say abortion and everyone gets uptight because everyone has an opinion and their ego speaks it loud and clear. Say drugs and everyone has an opinion which telegraph loudly. Any other hot topic will always bring a groundswell of opinions from the public. What really matters is not abortion or not, drugs or not. It is whether we learn anything that is lasting while we're here on this earth or not. I am leaning things constantly, but do I ever step back and look at what I ‘ve learned and ask myself if I feel more contentment or peace because I learned calculus today. I have to observe life as it comes at me to notice the difference between knowing what is real and not. If I say to you what is real for me is not always real for you, you‘d think I was going crazy. I write my own script daily or maybe moment to moment. I am a perceiver. I use perspective to wake up to life as it passes me by. I observe my life from inside a body but I cannot be in that body for I am an immortal soul at heart, quite literally. I live in the flow of light energy that is endless by nature.
